Dear Friends of Three Marm Brewing Co.,
I must share the unfortunate news with all of you that I tested positive for the COVID-19 virus yesterday December 4th at 1500 hrs PST.
I drove myself to the emergency room at my local hospital at around 1230 PST and was promptly admitted into an ICU unit for further testing on what I presumed to be cardiac arrest issues.I had been experiencing severe pain in my chest, and back, most noticeably, at night since last Sunday evening.
My EKG results showed no conclusive cardiac dysfunction and X-rays showed only minor opacity in my lungs and only a slight possibility of onset pneumonia.I was released yesterday afternoon and told to observe an absolute quarantine for 14 days. I was prescribed a medication regimen that included heavy doses of vitamin D-3, and vitamin C, along with aspirin, zinc gluconate and azithromycin. I am already feeling much better, and for the first time in several days, managed to sleep for more than a couple of hours overnight.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of the nurses, Renee, Annie, Chelsea, and Dr. Cheng who took such good care of me notwithstanding the fact that they were all working far beyond their regular shift hours.
I would also like to give my sincere thanks to the Three Marm Team for their concern and thoughtful follow up with me yesterday.
Three Marm Brewing will close its doors to the public until further notice.During this closure, we will do a complete sanitizing of the Brewery and tasting room, and request that our team members be tested for COVID-19, out of an abundance of caution and in the best interest of our patrons.
Although our onsite visitors over the past ten days were less than 10 people, I would urge any of you who have visited the brewery recently to get tested, again, out of an abundance of caution. When we do open again we will continue to observe strict precautions and best practices–including extra sanitation, use of masks, and social distancing–to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We will, of course, comply with all state, county, and local regulations as well.
Once we reopen, we will initially limit our sales to to-go beer orders only. All patrons will be required to wear masks on-site. Please follow our social media pages for further updates regarding our re-opening and future business hours.
Sincerely,
Andrew Divoff
